Protecting various surfaces of industrial structures against destructive environmental factors using epoxy, vinyl ester or polyurethane coatings

Protective coatings are a wide range of products and systems that are used to protect the structure against environmental degradation or corrosion. These coatings, generally made of epoxy resin, vinyl ester or polyurethane. These products have different mechanical and chemical properties and protect the structure against destructive agents. Examples of these coatings are anti-acid coatings for acid storage tanks. Although the coatings only have a protective function and do not have a load carrying role in the structure, they must be able to withstand the loads they are subjected to and maintain their durability for a long time.
