This product dries quickly and is non-shrinkable when sprayed.


PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TRM™200 concrete repair mortar is a type of self-leveling, cement-based mortar that is included in the category of dry concrete mortars. When mixed with water, it is a non-shrinking, highly cohesive compound for steel and concrete structures, even in chemically attacked environments.

Due to its inherent properties, this mortar is used for underlaying concrete and strengthening concrete structures in thicknesses between 10 and 100 mm (if the grain is coarse, more thickness) in special conditions and low temperature. The use of this mortar is recommended for temperatures between -10 and +30 degrees Celsius, in general it can be used in summer at temperatures between +17 and +30 degrees Celsius and in winter at temperatures between -10 and +17.

Afzir Reinforcement Company recommends not to use this repair mortar for concrete and steel structures in places that are attacked by chemicals at negative temperatures. Also, in order to use the product at a temperature between zero and -10 degrees, the target surface must be free of frost and moisture at the level of water flow and be kept warm. To keep the target surface warm, use infrared or heating lights. To prevent air entrapment, mortar should be poured from one corner.

Installing procedure

The preparation of this mortar, like other repair mortars, must be wet 24 hours before the operation, and the wet surface must be covered with a fabric at low temperatures.

How to prepare and implement the mortar is done in several steps as follows:

Preparation of the substrate

In order to create high adhesion of the mortar, the damaged concrete must be removed first. For this purpose, we use a suitable tool to cut the damaged corners to a depth of 10 mm. To destroy concrete, light guns or sandblasting should be used. After removing damaged concrete, rusted reinforcements should be cleaned.

Installation of dowel bars

Where the strength of concrete is weak, waiting bars should be installed according to the performance of the masonry and concrete structure.

moisturize

We must wet the entire restoration surface with water. Then remove excess moisture with a cloth or compressed air.

molding

The mold must be made of strong materials to be resistant to settlement and pressures caused by repairs after concreting. The air inside the cavities and the vertical elements and components of the structure must be removed. It should be noted that in negative temperatures, the surface of the mold should be covered to prevent heat from escaping.

mixing

30 kg of dry powder with 3.45 liters of cold water (cold water is used at a temperature of +30°C and hot water at a temperature of less than +5°C for the durability of concrete) inside a mechanical mixer with a high speed to We mix for 4 minutes.

This product causes sensitivity due to the presence of cement in its structure. When using mortar, the following points should be observed:

  • Use gloves to prevent skin allergies
  • Use safety glasses to prevent eye irritation
  • Use of clothes/gloves and safety glasses in environments exposed to chemicals
  • The environment should be well ventilated
  •  In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water
  • Contact with eyes should be washed immediately with plenty of water
  •  In case of breathing problems during use, consult a doctor.

Maintenance

Store the product in dry rooms and tight packaging with a maximum air humidity of 70%, away from direct sunlight and humidity. In the preparation of mortar, the duration of the use of the mortar should be taken into account, mainly it will be usable for 15 minutes.
